Summary
I began my journey at Target as a Software Engineering Intern in 2020, where I spent eight months honing my technical skills and gaining hands-on experience. Following my internship, i transitioned into a full time role as a Design Engineer, where I spent 2 years bridging the gap between design and engineering.
My Role
Software Engineer Intern
I contributed to the 0-to-1 development of two web applications: an e-commerce platform and a code assessment tool. Both projects required end-to-end development, from ideation and conceptualization to full-fledged web applications.
Throughout this process, I collaborated closely with product managers, agile coaches, designers, and developers to ensure a seamless user experience. I was involved in defining user needs, creating wireframes, and iterating on designs before transitioning into development.
Design Engineer
Following my internship, I joined Target as a full-time Design Engineer, where I spent the next two years bridging the gap between design and engineering.
In this role, I continued refining user experiences by integrating design principles with front-end development, ensuring that the final product was both visually compelling and technically sound.
